In nut dies certain volume of material of round coss-section change it's form to hexagonal or polygonal cross-section. polish die surface with micron level precision .in order to prevent cracks and breakage of tungsten carbide segment is also used .  This prevents the spread of cracks in the top of angles and increase die life .
